Journey

Massive landscapes, massive picture sizes, futurism... I've been having a good time. So here is my second landscape painting ever - more deserts, rocks, blue skies and cities, of course. But looking at the one I made before this... Yeah, the improvement is pretty visible. This is also my first real Photoshop painting and this time, due to the advice from the 2D graphics teacher, I did actually try and look at some reference pictures for rocks and especially the Grand Canyon. Apart from realizing that I gotta work a little on my composition in landscapes, I've also noticed that I've become a lot faster than what I used to be  - it took me a little over a week to get this one done and I was drawing maybe only three hours a day on average, if even that?
